About ABXCaREs
We all know someone who has suffered a life event that imposes a severe financial hardship on his or her family. The devastation of the gulf coast in 2005 is just one example. An appeal to ABX employees after that event provided financial support to many who were struck by this disaster.

Now that it is established, the fund will be there for these types of events, as well as the employee who suffers from a major illness, loss by fire, death of a family member or other unexpected catastrophe. The fund is supported by employee contributions as well as by ABX Air corporately.

A committee of employees reviews requests and approve distributions to employees who qualify for assistance. Contributions to this fund are not meant to replace contributions to charities long-supported by ABX Air. This is just an opportunity for many people to give just a little each pay period to create a generous fund for fellow ABX employees in dire need.

ABX Air employees are known for their willingness to help out in times of need. Whenever tragedy strikes, we receive many calls asking what we can do. ABXCaREs provides an outlet for those calls and a process to enable a quick and appropriate response to the needs of ABX employees. Donations go directly to the ABXCaREs fund, and in turn to employees.
