401(k) Age 50 "Catch-up" to start July 1, 2002

6/24/2002

Airborne Express is pleased to announce an important new enhancement to our CAP/401(k) plan. Beginning July 1, 2002, employees who are age 50 or older (or who will be age 50 by the end of this year), may contribute up to an extra

$1,000 into the plan this year. This new age 50 catch up contribution is a new provision allowed for the first time this year by the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001. To be eligible for this special age 50 "catch-up" deduction, employees must be planning to contribute the maximum amount permitted by the plan ($11,000 or 20% of your gross annual salary whichever is less). You do not have to wait until you've reached the maximum contribution to start the "catch-up" contribution. To take advantage of this new contribution please contact Fidelity after July 1, 2002, at (800) 835-5095 or by visiting www.401k.com.
