Golden Rule Insurance Options

With the changes coming to ABX Air in the upcoming months, many employees have asked about medical insurance options.
If you are part of a reduction in force and choose to separate with the company and receive a severance package, your medical benefits will continue through the last day of the month in which your severance pay ends if you return the proper paperwork. Your COBRA forms will still be mailed to your home address and you must return the election form to start your COBRA, even if you are on severance. If COBRA is elected, during severance you will pay only the active employee premiums. At the start of the following month after your severance ends, you may choose to continue health coverage for the remaining of your 18 months of COBRA by sending in full COBRA payments.
