Healthcare Center Now Open to Families

The ABX Air Healthcare Center is now seeing dependents. Spouses and dependent children (age 2 through 19, or until 23 if a full-time student) of employees can now use the ABX Healthcare Center.

The Healthcare Center is a full-service physician’s office. The providers at the Healthcare Center can provide evaluation and treatment for your injuries or illnesses. The providers can work with your primary care physician or you may choose the physician group at the Healthcare Center to be your primary care provider group. They also offer treatment for non-life threatening emergencies and your urgent care needs.

The Healthcare Center also carries certain prescription drugs for acute conditions. If the treating provider determines you need a prescription drug, they may be able to provide you with the prescription, saving you time, money and avoiding waiting in line at the pharmacy.

Services offered include:

Office Visits including:

- General

- Sore throat or Cough

- ear infections or Sinus problems

- Urinary infections

- Pink Eye

- Back pain

- Lacerations

- Simple orthopedic injuries (ankle, etc)

Immunizations (including allergy injections)

Preventative Physical Exams - including:

- Routine and Sports physicals

- Women’s Health including pap smears

- Men’s Health including PSA tests

- Skin checks

- Blood Pressure and Cholesterol

- Asthma and Diabetes

Pediatric Care (age 2+)

Hearing or Vision Screening

Weight Loss Classes/Nutritional Consultation

Smoking Cessation Classes

Laboratory and X-ray Services

Physical Therapy

Monday thru Friday 8 am to 6 pm

Saturday 9 am to 3 pm

Meet the Physicians

Several physicians are on staff at the ABX Air Healthcare Center. Dr. Jennifer Ross joined the staff full-time in June 2006. Dr. Nugent joined the staff in 2007.

Paul Nugent, D.O.		Jennifer Ross, D.O.
Dr. Nugent graduated from the Ohio University of Osteopathic Medicine and has been an Emergency Department Director as well as practicing Family Medicine. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and was a Flight Surgeon in the Air National Guard.		Dr. Ross graduated from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and has practiced family medicine. Dr. Ross is board certified in family medicine.
