Open Enrollment
Open enrollment is scheduled to begin Nov 3, 2003. Open enrollment packets will be distributed to employees through their supervisors during this first week of Nov. The packet will include information about e-BEAM, the new online enrollment process, a new Health Care Flexible Spending Account Benefit and a new 2004 Benefits Handbook. Look for your packet in early November. The deadline for Open Enrollment is NOVEMBER 30.

ABX Air is pleased to introduce a new way to enroll or make changes to your benefits. Beginning this Open Enrollment you may go on-line at a secure web site to enroll or make changes to your benefits. More information about how to use this new web site will be included in your Open enrollment packet.
New Healthcare Flexible Spending Account Introduced
ABX Air is pleased to introduce a new Healthcare Flexible Spending Account for employees with at least one year of service and who are not covered by a collective bargaining agreement. More information about the Healthcare Flexible Spending Account will be included in your open enrollment packet. Meetings are being held in Wilmington, Xenia, Columbus, Atlanta, Orlando and Allentown about the Flexible Spending Account.

New 2004 Benefits Handbook on CD-ROM
This year, ABX Air is distributing a new 2004 Benefits Handbook on CD-ROM. The Benefits Handbook is in the popular Adobe Acrobat format and includes a free Acrobat reader for those employees that need to upgrade their computers. By distributing the handbooks on CD-ROM instead of paper copies we are able to cut the cost by over 75% vs. printing paper copies. For those employees without computer access at work or home, paper copies will be available upon request.
