What happens when I call?
The EAP specialist will ask you a few questions to help identify the best resource to help you with your personal situation. If you want to see a counselor, the EAP specialist will match you with an EAP counselor who is experienced in helping people with problems similar to yours.
The EAP specialist will make every effort to satisfy your unique requirement, including day or evening appointments, a male or female provider who also fits your ethnic preference or particular language needs. The EAP specialist will give you all the information you need to schedule an appointment with your counselor. The EAP counselor typically meets you within three days, in the privacy of their office. In urgent situations you can request an appointment within 24 hours.
